5 - Lollipops are the best thing ever

Well...perhaps that was a little zealous...but they are damn good! and what, pray tell, is a lollipop? A lollipop (or puirietta...think i've spelt that right but I can only spell proplerly in English...not Spanish...so there) is a drink that we discovered on holiday...we were in a bar (best bar in the world! friendly barman who introduces you to exciting new drinks and then gives you them for free!) and since we were quite drunk decided that it would be a *really* good idea to move onto shots :P so we asked for Sambuca...they had none :( ...so we decided to give some Amaretto a go instead...which was nice :) so we had our shots and handed the glasses back...but instead of getting rid of them the barman lined them all up and gave us a lollipop each (Amaretto, pineapple juice and grenadine) and once we'd had the first one we couldn't stop drinking the damn things...of course that *may* have had something to do with the fact that they were only 1 euro (or 10p) each...even when we got carried away and had über-lollipops (same thing but in those tall glasses you normally get coke in) they still only cost 2 euros (or 10p ;)) and at the end of a lollipop filled evening what did the bill come to? That's right...10p...well, near enough anyway :P

Needless to say we brought lollipop ingredients back with us so if anyone fancies trying one just ask ;)
