Let's have some fun with words today shall we chaps? That's rhetorical of course as i'm going to do it anyway regardless of any objections...so there :P anyway...let's get on with it shall we?

What we're doing here is looking at words or phrases that have one particular meaning, but these words are compounded of other words that make them oxymorons (pay attention Lynsey :P) like 'Network', for example, which implies a net that works...which Networks so rarely do! :D confused? well lets start with an easy one:

Consult; To seek the opinion or advice of another; to take counsel; to deliberate together; to confer.
Con; To swindle (a victim) by first winning his or her confidence; dupe.
Insult; Gross abuse offered to another, either by word or act; an act or speech of insolence or contempt; an affront; an indignity.

See what I did there? :P Funny how incredibly apt that is eh? So, now you've got the gist of it, let's try some obvious ones ;)

Peace force
Clearly misunderstood
Synthetic natural gas
Government organization
Found missing
